One thing: Jared is a Warlord, not a Warlord Prince. Remember how everyone in the caravan was so surprised when it was revealed there WAS a Warlord Prince among them? ...Blaed, when Talon's presence broke whatever cover-up spell Sadi had cast to hide Blaed's true nature. (Sorry, I remember these things because I am too much of a fanatic.)
