He might actually find out some useful info too since people are less tight-lipped when drunk.

[Ikki isn't really a heavy drinker, but today he's gulping down the alcohol at a healthy, or unhealthy since it's alcohol, speed. He's not drinking it as if it was water, but for a man used to nurse his drinks and take a long while to finish one, to end one in fifteen minutes is kind of a record.

He's not talking or paying much attention at what's around him for now, busier with his own thoughts.]
