Does anyone remember, like a million years ago, when I told everyone in chat that I had written a lame ass sequel to Pru's very brill fic, Edges?? Well I finally found it buried in the middle of polisci notes. I really wanted to email it to her first, but I could not find her email - I'm sorry Pru! Take this as a public exultation of my love ( Read more... )

YOU RUINED MY LIFE WITH EDGES. I CRIED IN CLASS. PEOPLE SAW ME AND I HAD TO EXPLAIN.

Ugh so so long. If all goes well next January. I'm taking the term off next Sept to work for Michael Ignatieff in his leadership race. It's scary how much dirty politics goes on - Watergate? was nothing on this race.
I have a signed Joe Flanigan photo for you btw. He stares at me from across the room every night and is hot like a hot thing.

This is so beautiful. The pieces between the story, especially, are so striking. The idea of the public perception of the program, how it's taught in history, the negative effects the revelation already has, all of it is envisioned and described so perfectly.

THanks! I work in a political party office, and today a coworker and I were talking about what would happen if we found life on other planets and he said his reaction would be 'great. more voters to sign up'

Thanks! Edges was the saddest thing, ever ever ever. I was worried that by making mine a crossover it would immediately be crack and not sad.

Lovely thing, this story, broke my heart all over again.

Thank you. I cried at school when I read edges. I'm so glad you liked this one, but I'm sorry you cried and ruined your eye makeup.
