Establishing that Kenna was unharmed was as simple as the scry that located her, but Caleb knows how much of a bleeding-heart Kenna is. She loves people in general - especially children, comedians, and mimes.

Caleb walks out of a nearby alleyway, all too happy to finally be back in civilian clothes. With the mystical poisoning still fresh and unchecked, he elected to forego suicide by trying to continue helping cops and began tending to some personal affairs. And, as always, the name Kenna Tirenn is never far from the top of that list.

He walks behind her car, and settles a few feet behind her. “What are we looking at?” he asks before coughing a few times.

Kenna's not exactly startled but she wasn't expecting to hear Caleb there. She turns, giving him a tired smile. She doesn't say anything, she just walks towards him slowly and hooking her arms around his neck.

Her head rests down against his chest. "Mo chroí," she says quietly and sweetly. Funny how he's always there in those moments when it's just what she needs.

His hands find the small of her back, and he pulls her close for a few seconds, just savoring the smell of her.

“Moy dòshaa.”

His arms fall away from her as he steps back, internally boiling that one of those pompous idiots had made Bell feel like this. It’s tempered, though. Caleb had anticipated that she would need human contact right about now.

It’s why he’s not in bed like he should be.

“It’s good to see you’re still in one piece.”

"And ye," she says. He looks like he's been through the washing machine recently, too; she expected that. Things seem to be wrapping up and the cops are really wanting people to move on and stop distracting any traffic that may come along.

She gestures towards her Altima. "Wanna get the hell out of here?" An awkward smile. "It's been a long few days."
