Today before TKD class:

Master Paul> How's your foot?
Me> *shows him* Juliet's elbows are bony.
Master Paul> AGAIN?!
Me> Yeah. Last time it was my right foot. This time it was my left.
Master Paul> Well at least you evened it out.

In case you're curious what it actually looks like... )

Ow, that looks painful! Our class today was super mellow... me, Boo, a 7 year old about to get his yellow belt, and a recommended black (like late teens or early 20s) who was just coming back after an absence of months/years. But I learned most of my new form, which I need to have cold for mid-March!

It doesn't hurt as much as it looks like it should? But yeah, it hurts.

Yay for learning your form! I still feel like mine is a mess, but I think maybe I just hate the damn form.

You are in walking stance hell, right? I'm not fond of those forms. We reviewed our two green belt forms today.

Yes. I hate walking stance. I also hate that when I go from walking stance to front stance, I'm consistently throwing myself off balance. I also don't like the front kick-punch combo because I feel like I have no fucking clue what to do with my arms.

This, of course, comprises about half of the form. *headdesk*
