The first thing, I've just received in the mail the Jade Special version (Jade holding his Catalyst weapon) from the Tales of the Abyss One-Coin Grande Figurines that I had bought from funk_mastah_ion. So now, with that last figurine, my collection for the Tales of the Abyss One-Coin Grande figurines are now complete (all 13)! I had bought an entire box of 12 ( Read more... )

hmmmm, you and your guidebooks. You know you can always go to GameFaqs instead? :P

I remember when I first started to play Eternal Sonata, a half an hour or so into the game.......the title screen shows up.

What? I know, but I hate referring to a wall of text at my computer and I have to move from the sofa back to my computer to look at the FAQ. The distance of my computer chair vs. the distance of the sofa from the TV is shorter. It kills my eyes if I play at the computer (unless it's on my NDS). I prefer having a book on my lap and I need access to a computer to see the FAQ. I only use FAQs for stuff not found in the Guidebook D:

Ah, I have a laptop that I can carry around anywhere ^-^

Makes sense to get a guide book in that case...Though for Blue Dragon, the only real thing that's important are the barrier locations. The best items are found in chests behind barriers not through sidequests.....well maybe one sidequest is worth it....

I want a laptop too...but I don't want it as much as compared to...consoles that have games that I want to play and my internet and manga stuff (and some Tales collectibles).

I was happy to finally find someone selling the one I'm missing and it wasn't at an auction site. I'm not a fan of auctions, since the price can run really high x_x I didn't want to buy another box of 12 just to try and get that last one...

What happened to your previous comment? O_o You deleted it? Managed to read it from my e-mail alert though.

But buying from Amazon JP is expensive, and you know why? It's cause of shipping. No, actually that isn't the actual problem, but the actual problem is that they only have one international shipping method, and that is International Courier service for international shipping. They don't offer a cheaper shipping option =/

Play-Asia is great. If you're willing you wait and if your order is below a certain weight, you can take free air shipping. Their prices are reasonable too. Sometimes it's cheaper if I buy games locally, sometimes it costs a bit more, but it really isn't a big deal. The price difference is only by a few dollars in my currency.

Heh XD I guess that's true. So far I've received everything from Play-Asia intact and I've only used Courier service (FedEx) once and that was for the US version Tales of Vesperia. Everything else I've used free air shipping. I didn't want to get the Asian English version even though it's cheaper cause I prefer the US box art, although they both have the same region lock...haha. Maybe Singapore's postal service is better than the US one...lol ( ... )
