Gandhari putting on the blindfold is my favorite moment of The Mahabarata. I really enjoyed your take on this section of the legend!

Yeah..there are different legends as to why she blindfolds herself..I like to believe this one (sounds somewhat liberating..if not entirely ;)). Glad that you enjoyed it..was hoping it should work..:)

What a provocative take you have on this. I always wince when Draupadi is brought in to be disrobed while the Pandavas watch helplessly.

Your development of Shakuni is well done.

Hey..thanks for the compliments..:) Yeah.. Draupati vastraharan/disrobing is a very controversial topic and gets discussed even today...I didn't want the limelight to shift to Draupadi, so mellowed it down here..though I would have loved to twist that one part in history/mythology..;)

I am not familiar with the source material, but I loved this tale. You did a great job with it, and worked in the prompt nicely.

Ah! Glad that it worked for you ..makes me feel accomplished, since you don't know about the source. Mahabharata is the largest Epic written in India, which has stories within stories. Basic plot being , a joint family squabbling for the throne..:P..which leads to war...:D

I totally agree..though some parts of Mahabharata are personified and are hard to believe/digest...there is archaeological evidence stating that the War did happen.
Thanks..:) Glad that you liked it..Happy to see you stop by ..<3
