Summary: He didn’t notice that Kakashi had put up his clothes until the next day. He found he didn’t much care. Sasuke struggles to deal with the aftermath of being raped.
His clothes were ripped. He was covered in semen, scrapes and bruises. Blood was everywhere. He wished it were raining so he could cry and pretend it was the rain. Somehow he had ended up at his Sensei’s door and he was knocking on it before he could stop himself.
“I’ll take you to the hospital.”
Sasuke’s eyes widened and his body tensed at the thought of someone touching him. He titled his heals to the left and was planning to run; but Kakashi grabbed his wrist and from the corner of his eye, Sasuke saw him lift his arm and he felt a blow against the base of his neck before his world went blank.
-
The first thing Sasuke saw when he woke up was Kakashi. He was sitting in a chair in the corner of the room reading on of his stupid books.
He scowled at him. “Why did you take me here?” He was fine.
Kakashi sat his book down on his leg. “You were raped,” Sasuke flinched. “I needed to make sure that you didn’t receive any sexually transmitted diseases. You also lost quite a bit of blood.”
“Did I have any?”
“All the chakra-based tests were negative. Two needed to be tested by blood, the results should be in by the end of the week.”
“Can I go home now?” Sasuke just wanted to take a long, hot shower.
“No,” Sasuke was about to argue but Kakashi held up one finger and continued. “You’ll be staying with me until the rapist is caught.”
“I can take care of myself.”
“You don’t have a choice.”
Before Sasuke could protest the door to his hospital room was opened and Sakura rushed to him in a pink blur and threw her arms around him. “Sasuke-kun! I was so worried about - “ She paused, realizing what she’d done and was about to pull away. But, before he could stop himself, he rested his head on her shoulder and set his hand on her hip. Sakura kept her arms around him.
“Sasuke-bastard,” Sasuke hadn’t even noticed Naruto was there. ”Don’t worry, I’ll catch whoever did this to you, I promise!”
Sasuke pressed his fingers into Sakura’s hip slightly when he sensed she was about to turn around and scold Naruto. Sakura seemed to understand and stayed silent and didn’t move. Sasuke focused on the soft fabric of her clothes, he didn’t have the energy to deal with Naruto at the moment.
“Naruto, you have to stay out of this.”
Naruto turned to face Kakashi and started angrily, “But -!”
Kakashi stood up, walked over to Naruto, and led him out of the hospital room.
“I’ll stay as long as you want me too, Sasuke-kun,” Sakura said softly.
Sasuke closed his eyes and fell asleep to the smell of Sakura’s somehow comforting strawberry-scented hair.
-
Kakashi and Sasuke walked through the village to Kakashi’s home from the Uchiha compound, Kakashi carrying most of Sasuke’s supplies.
“Do I need to tell someone about what happened?” Sasuke said to Kakashi as casually as he could mange.
“Do you want to?” Kakashi asked.
“No!” Sasuke said sharply. He silently berated himself before continuing as if he had said nothing. “I thought they would want…” He paused to gather his bearings, “Stuff on him.”
“No,” Kakashi said and Sasuke could tell from his tone that he wasn’t going to get any more information from him. His inclined his eye to the right and down slightly in order to look at Sasuke, “If you do want to -”
Sasuke didn’t let him finish his sentence. “I’m fine.”
Not another word was said as they walked to Kakashi’s house.
-
When Sasuke got to Kakashi’s house the first thing he did was take a long shower. Although he scrubbed himself raw, he still felt like he’d never been dirtier in his entire life.
Sasuke was thrown on the facedown on the ground and he knew he was loosing. He was too sore to move effectively. The attacker knelt down beside him and tugged at the ends of Sasuke’s shirt. Sasuke’s eyes widened and he struggled to move, but only succeeded in having his hips straddled and shirt torn.
The water was cool by the time he gave up trying to scrub the invisible dirt, blood and semen off of his body.
Kakashi had dinner ready when he got out, but Sasuke wasn’t hungry. He glared at his teacher as if it was everything was his fault, stormed into the room Kakashi said Sasuke was staying in, and went to sleep. His nightmares were worse then usual that night, filled with rough hands as well as dead bodies and a cold laugh.
He didn’t notice that Kakashi had put up his clothes until the next day. He found he didn’t much care.
-
“I’m still going to train today,” were the first words out of Sasuke’s mouth the next morning.
“Eat first,” said Kakashi from where he was sitting, not even looking up from the book he was reading.
“I don’t want to,” said Sasuke, folding his arms and glaring at the book Kakashi was reading.
“I don’t really care,” said Kakashi as he turned a page of his book.
Somehow feeling as if a small weight was lifted off his shoulders, Sasuke sat down and ate.
-
“So much for Kakashi-sensei being on time.” Naruto said and Sasuke heard him kicking the bridge softly.
Sasuke hadn’t been surprised when Kakashi had suddenly disappeared halfway to the bridge. What did surprise him, however, was the lack of Sakura. It normally wouldn’t bother him but Naruto was being extra annoying without Sakura was there to hit him when he was acting stupid.
“Is she sick?” Sasuke asked Naruto after they’d been waiting an hour.
“Sakura-chan?” Naruto said.
“Who else would I be talking about?” Sasuke said and glared at him.
“No. She started training under the new Hokage, Tsunade, yesterday,” Naruto said.
Before Sasuke could question Naruto more, Kakashi appeared with a stupid excuse.
When Sasuke started to spar with Naruto and Naruto landed a punch on Sasuke, he felt those hands on him and froze. Naruto easily tackled him and Sasuke was sure he felt teeth biting the base of his neck. He heard familiar whimpers and felt an even more familiar plead on the tip of his tongue when Kakashi’s voice broke through.
“That’s enough for today.”
Naruto looked at him oddly as he got off of him and was probably about to ask a stupid question when Kakashi set a hand on his shoulder and shook his head.
Sasuke was very bitter when he got to Kakashi’s home.
-
Callused fingers grabbed his penis roughly as his neck was covered in warm breath. “I’ll make you come, you slut.”
The water was ice cold. Sasuke turned the shower off and grabbed the towel he’d left on the sink and dried off. By the time he’d dressed, he’s convinced himself that the salt he’d tasted throughout the shower was from sweat.
As soon as Sasuke stepped out of the bathroom, he walked into the kitchen and sat down. As he traced the lines on the wood of the table he asked, “Is Sakura still on our team?”
“Yes,” said Kakashi as he set food on the table.
“How?” Sasuke began to tap the table with his index finger.
“She will still go on missions with us. She’s just training under someone else.”
“Why?”
Kakashi set a bowl of rice in front of him, “You’ll have to ask her yourself.”
After a moment, Sasuke looked up and faced his teacher, who was sitting across from him. He said, as if he expected Kakashi to argue with him, “I’m talking to her tomorrow.”
“Do you know where she lives?”
“Yes,” Sasuke lied.
The two of them ate in silence and Sasuke went back to the room Kakashi had said was his and went to bed. His nightmares were getting worse.
When he woke up, there was a piece of paper with an address on it on the nightstand. Sasuke quickly memorized it and stuffed the paper in his pocket.
-
Sakura was just stepping out of her house when Sasuke arrived at her house.
“Sasuke-kun?” Sakura said, walking over to him.
“Why are you training with someone new?” Sasuke asked bluntly when she was in within about a meter of him.
“It’s a long story,” Sakura said, stopping in her tracks.
Sasuke stared at her.
“The night that you were - “ Sakura’s eyes widened and she took several steps back. “I - “
“Three nights ago,” Sasuke corrected quickly.
“Three nights ago,” Sakura agreed and she visibly relaxed. “I thought you were going to leave to and go to Orochimaru and I waited for you at the bridge so I could try to stop you.”
Sasuke felt his shoulders tense and Sakura continued.
“When you didn’t show up after a few hours, I decided to do some, um, research,” said Sakura and she began to blush.
“On what?” Sasuke said more sharply then he intended.
“You told me you were an avenger and I… I figured it may have something to do with he Uchiha massacre.”
Sasuke clenched his fists and looked down, but before he could say anything, Sakura continued quickly.
“I knew I wouldn’t find out much legally… So I sneaked into the village center and looked through the files. I’m sorry.”
“About invading my privacy or for what happened?” Sasuke hissed and lifted up his head so he could glare at her.
“About what happened,” Sakura said and continued softly. “I’m not sorry I - you didn’t hear what Orochimaru said! He was sure you’d come to him! I couldn’t let you do that if I could help it.” She began to cry.
Something stirred inside Sasuke, but he pushed it down. “How did that lead up to you training under the new Hokage?”
“Tsunade-sensei caught me and when I told her about you and Orochimaru, she seemed to take it personally and said she’d train me to be a medic ninja.” She took two steps forward grabbed Sasuke’s wrists and held them in her hands. “I’m going to become strong so I can help you.”
Sasuke turned away. “Why would you - I didn’t ask for your help.”
“I care about you, Sasuke-kun. I’m going to help you no matter what. Someday you’ll be happy.”
Sasuke quickly pulled away from her grip on his wrists. After a long moment, Sasuke admitted, “I don’t want you hurt.”
“I’ve already chosen,” Sakura said. She had stopped crying.
Sasuke’s lips twitched into a small smile.
-
Sasuke was thrown on the facedown on the ground and he knew he was loosing. He was too sore to move effectively. His attacker knelt down beside him and tugged at the ends of Sasuke’s shirt. Sasuke’s eyes widened and he struggled to move, but only succeeded in having his hips straddled and shirt torn and his pants torn off.
Cold wind brushed across his body as he was forced on his knees, his thighs were pulled apart and his attacker entered him with a quick thrust.
Sasuke’s eyes suddenly shot open. As quickly and quietly as he could, he went to the bathroom and into the shower.
He could still feel those fingers on his penis, palms against his thighs, and his body was still covered in invisible blood and semen. No matter how much he showered it just wouldn’t go away.
The tip of the attackers’ penis crushed against something that brought Sasuke some sort of twisted pleasure. The next thrust was harder and Sasuke dug his fingers into the dirt, blinked rapidly, and bit his bottom lip. Another one and Sasuke started to mewl.
“Such a slut.”
Sasuke turned off the cold water completely and let the hot water scald his skin.
Panting slightly, the attackers’ callused fingers grabbed Sasuke’s penis roughly as his neck was covered in warm breath, “I’ll make you come, you slut. Of course, anyone could.”
Sasuke’s hips seemed to move on its own.
“You’d spread your legs for anyone.”
He turned off the hot water, leaded against the wall, slipped down, pressed his legs against his chest, wrapped his arms around his legs, pressed his face against his knees, and tried not to cry.
“I would- “ Sasuke’s words were cut off by foreign lips and a few strokes later, Sasuke came and his body crumpled.
He felt his hips being lifted and his face being pushed down into the ground.
He could still feel the dirt on his face.
“You would? You’re such a slut. A pretty one though, so another fuck.” His attacker thrust hard and sunk his teeth into Sasuke’s cursed seal. Sasuke didn’t even try and hold in his cries anymore.
Sasuke lifted his head up and absently rubbed his neck. He knew saliva was still there.
His attacker finally got off of him and to mock him, gently dressed Sasuke with his torn and bloody clothes. Those callused fingers traced Sasuke’s seal for a moment before he walked off without a word.
Sasuke was suddenly hit with an idea and, as fast as he could, he put on his clothes, and ran across the hall and into Kakashi’s room.
Kakashi was awake.
Good. That suited Sasuke just fine. “Fuck me.”
Kakashi didn’t look surprised. “That would only hurt you more, Sasuke.”
“Then I’m not leaving tonight,” said Sasuke and he squared his jaw, crawled under the covers and pressed his body against Kakashi’s. Kakashi put one of his arms around Sasuke’s hips, Sasuke rested his head in the nape of Kakashi’s neck and closed his eyes. He was asleep with the familiar nightmares of his parents’ dead bodies and a cold laugh soon.
-
Two days later, the results of the blood test came back negative. When Kakashi, again, refused to fuck Sasuke, Sasuke, once again, crawled under Kakashi’s covers and was almost soothed by his old nightmares. Sasuke thought he felt fingers run through his hair, but he wasn’t sure.
-
“Sasuke-bastard, when we fight your brother, I’ll fight the shark guy.”
Sasuke’s eyes widened in shock and Naruto was able to tackle Sasuke. He forced his body not to freeze again. It was just Naruto.
“I fight alone.” Sakura’s face appeared in Sasuke’s mind, and he promptly decided to make sure she didn’t go with him.
Naruto gave him his stupid grin. “I need to make sure you don’t die so Sakura-chan won’t cry.”
Sasuke pushed Naruto off of him and ignored the relief that filled him. “What brought this on?”
“Sakura-chan told me to bring it up.”
Sasuke answered by punching him in the face.
Sasuke still flinched away from Naruto’s punch, but, for the first time since he was attacked, he didn’t feel those fingers instead of Naruto’s hand.
-
When Sasuke got home from sparring Naruto later that evening, Kakashi was reading one of his books on the couch.
“Dinner is on the table.”
“What if I don’t want to eat?” Sasuke asked.
Kakashi lowered his book and gave him a look. Sasuke folded his arms and glared at him for a moment before obeying the silent command. After he was done eating, Sasuke walked back into the living room leaned against the wall and sulked.
Kakashi didn’t even look up from his book.
Sasuke went to bed and his nightmares didn’t include the cold laugh.
-
In the middle of that same night, Sasuke woke up knowing something was wrong. When he checked, Kakashi wasn’t in his room or anywhere else in the house. Sasuke went into the living room, sat down on the couch, and watched the door.
When Kakashi arrived back an hour later he didn’t seem at all surprised to see Sasuke waiting for him. He sat down next to Sasuke.
“I got a lead on your rapist. He’s dead.”
“Did you kill him?” Sasuke asked as he picked at a loose thread on the sleeve of his shirt.
“Yes.”
Sasuke didn’t even realize he was tense until his body relaxed at that word. As if someone was speaking through him, Sasuke said, “Did you find out why he did it?”
A long pause. Kakashi knew.
“Do you really want to know?”
Sasuke stared at his feet. “He knew I’d like it.” Someone was still speaking through Sasuke. “Near the end of the first time, it started to feel good. He got me off and said I was a slut and did it again.” Sasuke didn’t even try to fight whomever we speaking through him. “He kept thrusting in that place over and over. I think I came again. He knew I would let anyone do it so he took his chance.”
“You didn’t enjoy it at all. You’ve been trying to wash the memory off of your body since it happened.” Clinically, he added, “You only allow Sakura to touch you and still flinch away from everyone else, including Naruto.”
Sasuke flushed slightly and glad that Kakashi didn’t know that, for some reason, sometimes, he craved Kakashi’s touch. “Then why did - “
“Normal reaction.”
Kakashi stood up and began walking out of the living room. When Sasuke didn’t stand he titled his head to the side and said, “Aren’t you coming?”
“Will you - “
“No.”
Feeling slightly relieved Sasuke followed him to his room and got into the quickly growing familiar position of pressed against his teacher. He fell asleep quickly and was almost sure that Kakashi ran his fingers though his hair. Itachi killed his cousins in his nightmare that night, but he didn’t hear that laugh or see his parents.
-
Feeling a sense of loss he couldn’t define, but feeling even more determined, the next day, as they were eating breakfast, Sasuke declared he was leaving.
“Ahh… About that,” Kakashi said and Sasuke set down his chopsticks carefully, “You’re not.”
“What! Why not?” Sasuke asked, wanting suddenly to break something - preferably the chopsticks he’d just been using. “He’s dead.”
“I happen to know that the night you were raped, you were planning to leave to Sound. You’re going to stay here until I’m sure you won’t leave.”
“How did you know? Sakura - “
Kakashi cut him off. “Sakura said nothing. I found out from a different source.”
“Who?” Sasuke said, narrowing his eyes.
“I don’t feel like telling you.” Kakashi grabbed that stupid book.
Sasuke grabbed one of the chopstick and broke it out of spite before storming off to his room and slamming the door.
“Sneaking out the window won’t work,” cheerfully, Kakashi continued, “Although I encourage to you to try, I have a perfect punishment picked out for you if you attempt to.”
Sasuke took his hand off of the windowsill and plopped down on his bed. He folded his arms and stared at the ceiling until Kakashi told him it was time to leave for the mission.
-
When the two of them got home that night, Kakashi went straight to the couch and began to read. Sasuke was sure he was doing it to annoy him. He stood in the middle of the room and glared at him.
“Is there something you need?” Kakashi said after a moment.
“What would you do to me if I tried to leave?” Sasuke said.
Kakashi set down his book and tapped his finger on his chin for what felt like hours before saying, “Depends on how you try.”
Expecting his vague answer, Sasuke was ready, “If I went out the window?”
Sasuke knew Kakashi was grinning behind his mask. “That’s been bugging you all day.”
It wasn’t a question, but Sasuke decided to deny it anyway. “I don’t care at all.”
“That’s good. I wouldn’t want you performance to suffer more then it does already.” He began to read again.
Sasuke’s eyes widened. Kakashi just turned a page. Sasuke folded his arms and stared at the ground. Kakashi turned a page. Sasuke tapped his fingers on his arm. Kakashi turned another page. Sasuke walked over to him and sat down next to him.
“Maybe I care a little.”
Kakashi looked up from his book. “Telling you would ruin my fun.”
“You could be lying,” Sasuke accused.
“I could,” Kakashi agreed.
Because Kakashi was being so annoying, Sasuke decided to annoy him back. He rested his head on Kakashi’s lap and curled his legs. A moment later, Kakashi covered Sasuke with the couch blanket. Sasuke fell asleep to the turning pages of Kakashi’s book.
And this time, Sasuke was sure that Kakashi ran his fingers through Sasuke’s hair.
