Wow, ouch. That first one certainly rips out the heart and stomps on it ;o;~

The second one was a little confusing to me for some reason, but still very painful and well written. Was it actually Cloud or am I insane for thinking that was from Zack's POV from some reason and he's gone all flippy-in-the-head like Cloud did?

The second one is actually Cloud, right after the whole cliff scene happened. It's from the POV of the towns people. I was trying to make it confusing though, since at that moment Cloud thinks he's Zack in a way.

"There's a sense of loss in those eyes that tugs at their heartstrings and makes every mother want to envelope him in their arms."

That's a really good way to put it, actually... Cloud seems like such a wounded thing after everything happened; I'd like to think some people had a bit of compassion in them.

Thanks, I was worrying if I got my point across with that or now.

I don't remeber where I got it from though. All I remeber is 'OMFG! ANGST!' so naturally I had to have it.

My heart is hurting now. I've always felt this need to scoop Cloud up in my arms and keep him safe and I feel it even more now.

Squee! Oh man...I do love the inside/outside aspect of it. I think it's Cloud's internal dialogue that really grabs and pulls me in; we're not even sure who he's thinking of, if he even knows who he's looking for, he's so lost. It's. Just.

God. Love it. All of it. Dude.
