That is very interesting. It was a major eye opener for me. Learing about Hitler and the bombing of Dresdon never really sunk in until I visited and learned that Claudia's grandma was 11 when he was in action. It doesn't seem so surreal now. It still blows my mind seeing photos of what Dresdon was like after the bombing and knowing I just bought shoes from there a few weeks ago.
