This is really well done, but because of how interesting the world seemed, I really almost wanted it to be longer. Are you planning on writing more in this 'verse?

The way you write these characters is so smooth and natural, and I love the premise of this story. I have to say, I'm starting to associate D1 almost exclusively with clever, plot-driven sci-fi AUs now, because of you. Please don't ever stop writing. ♥

This... is very interesting :D It reminds me of The Island (Scarlett&Ewan?) only heaps more amazing because it's you and D1 XD I am hoping to see more of this!

*laughs* Aha! Well. You see. The book this fic was sort of based on is... probably actually the inspiration for that film as well; the resemblance is suspicious and the people who made the film did originally have the rights to make a film of Spares.
