He is adorable (although slightly pissy if he doesn't like what you're trying to do)

This not-so-wee beardie, however, is a handsome fellow! (Why do I assume male? Huh. *shrug*)

I've been assuming male as well, as poking around in the poor thing's clocal vent in search of hemipenes is an indignity too far at the moment.

I realised after I posted this that most people would associate 'beardie' with the dog, and not with the reptile. Um, oops?

Hee, I am loving the comments. My brother has two bearded dragons (his kids are allergic to furry pets) and he swears they are cuddly and snuggly.

He is ridiculously cute (altough the caveat to that is that I've been know to find things like tarantulas cute as well)
