Thanks! They were fun to make (and fun to give away, too).

Oh....pretty.
Love the color scheme of all three. Bright, bold and beautiful.
The last one is my favorite pattern though. :-)

Yeah - I like this pattern of that one, too. The colors really washed out in the photo - it is way more stunning in person. I told my mom she could cuddle her grandbabies in it and she said - Are you kidding? Sticky fingers all over that? Not on your life!

So she's got a spot on the wall to hang it up. The girls tug theirs all over the house to curl up in. Exactly the use for a favored quilt, I think!

Oh honey! *smish* Quilts! *OMG - smishsmushsmishsmush* These are absolutely beautiful! The talent has you! The closest I've ever come to quilting is to gather up all the baby blankets from the girls I kept and put them in the same box.

Thank you for the pics.

Yeah. I love how these turned out. The ones for the girls turned out way better than I expected. And I know G loves to drag hers around and curl up and read with it. Their mom asked me when they opened the quilts "are these for special bed time only?" and I said no, quilts are made to be loved to tatters. So whatever they want to do with them is okay by me (I'll just make more). G made a fort with hers almost immediately. It is one of her favorite playthings.

The patterns were so easy - they are "method" quilts, not blocks. And G's didn't quite turn out as planned, but it was kind of better than the original thought. For B's the "braids" went together really well, but I didn't want to sew them directly together. I thought the use of the black to "suspend" the color runs would work well.

And yeah - they are both backed in flannel, so they are cozy to curl up with! I know how much G loves hers. B is a little more reticent (also being younger, not as articulate).

Hey, I recognize those! I even know who B and G are.

Hm. I vaguely recall hearing, "It's not quite finished...."
