Update on the town drama

So all the kids have been either picked up from school or delivered home after their extended locked down day. The mail has been delivered. But according to the news, the guy with the knife is still out there (seven hours after it began late this morning

Kind of silly, huh?

There was a picture book I adored as a kid where this little boy spends so much time complaining that his life was so boring he missed all the wonderful and exciting and terrible things that happened in the background of his neighborhood.

I kind of feel like that was enacted here a little bit. Nothing ever happens on my block, except when it actually does.

That's a relief. Glad it turned out well. Now, bubble bath, candles and a nice glass of wine should fit the ticket.
