KARI!!!

In the evenings, hon - just give me 48 hours notice... In the next two weeks I'm *not* available the 6th, 8th or 10th. Any other day is *SO FAR* clear!

Yeah, working from home just got a hella lot more exciting. TEACUP! Yay! I am so happy you are out of your previous situation!

And yeah, taking the train to NYC is an easy way to travel. I hope our schedules can work out sometime in the next couple of months (I've got to schedule one trip to California in April or May, but once that is scheduled I'll know what weekends I have free for the next three months)

Oh...life size tonka toys. Sweet. Well, it would be I suppose if they weren't in front of your house or camped out on your lawn.

The front push-shovel attachment is probably just called a 'blade' just so you know. And the assorted trucks are either dump trucks, belly dumps, and possibly cement mixers. Why yes, yes I was a tomboy. How can you tell? :-)

Are they allowed to just help themselves to your water? I mean, don't they at least need your permission?

Apparently, my water is their water. Which I am okay with - after I figured out that the rushing water sound was not something to panic over (after having one toilet implode in spectacular fashion on me, the sound of uncontrolled rushing water makes me a wee bit nervous).

Blade, blade, right... this is good. And no cement mixers - that I would have recognized! And while not quite a tomboy, I also wasn't a girly girl. Shocking, I know. :D

But yeah, they keep exchanging their front attachments to haul around large gravel containers, and this huge structure they keep putting in the ground to work around, and then removing after dumping in the gravel. The guys that operate this stuff are really good. The one CAT looks almost alive as it moves around, he moves it so smoothly.

sounds like quite the show. :-)
Are you watching through the front window, feet up while you sip a hot cup o' someting?

Well, watching through the window anyway... I'm currently working-from-home on the couch (laptop+wireless=can set down anywhere in the house)... and right on time, they are patching the road for the night.

Hmmm... Tea is not a bad idea right now. *wanders off to look in the cupboards*

Heehee! Big trucks and men that know how to drive them. I'm so blue collar attracted...*sigh* Mike Rowe needs to drive a big truck in front of my house.
