Ok, that is what your teammates say, but what does your manager say? I thought this position was supposed to go captive after six months. That said, I have always had a tough time detaching, and that's why contracting worked better for me personally. I never got attached in the first place. Doesn't mean I didn't bring work home from work, but it helped. :-)

My official manager wasn't in the meeting. The PMO exec was, though, and said nothing. To be entirely fair, it's also what my contract states. My job is to manage projects.

What's weird is there's a PMO exec that I can't report to (he's a contractor, too), but officially my manager is the CTO.

I feel for you darling... I have for so long fallen naturally (as do you) into a leadership position that I have to daily remind myself at school that I am there to learn what they know, not to take over LOL.

The Bodice by the way looks great. This dress is going to be so beautiful on you. I will work on lacing holes today (I need to move the boning in the front, I don't like where it is now). How far apart do you think we should have the holes? 1 inch I am thinking?

That's my understanding, too.

I've found that the ribbon method for ladder lacing works brilliantly...

In my experience fear of change impedes progress (in so many arenas of life and business).

I'm sorry you are encountering this situation. Have you talked to HR about how you felt after leaving that meeting? It is certainly an opportunity for them to review their communication styles.

*hugs*

I think you should definitely document how they intimidated you.

If I weren't a contractor, I totally would :-) HR doesn't cover me... yet.

Except the cow-orkers who want you to follow their process have a sucky process that doesn't work.
