It's like tacking a highway restoration bill onto the end of a museum funding bill. Y'know.

So, don't be a dick. Be a vampire instead. Huzzah.

The thing is, as much as I want to get excited over this on a 'omg, he said it and it's totally slashy'-level... I can't. Because of course Ric would want Damon to do it-- because who else could?

Caroline? He wouldn't want her to feel sorry for turning him.

Stefan? Well, maybe if Damon wasn't there and he didn't have any choice.

One of the originals? I think he'd rather die than let that happen, we don't know enough about what happens to people who are turned by an original.

Other than that, there is no one left. And despite all the grumpiness and growling and general pissed-off-ness of current Alaric, Damon is still the only vampire he trusts, even if that's because he *knows* how he ticks.

So, yeah, of course he'd want Damon to turn him, no surprise there.

Still... HAWT!

Who is this Ernesto Riley? He posted (retweeted? idk) the EW cover with Elena cropped out and Damon and Stefan embracing each other (it was crappy work, but STILL) Paul Wesley and Travino retweeted and made some joke about it too.

Ernesto Riley is Matt Davis. It's...it's hard to explain. It's his online identity, part the actor from the Vampire Diaries, part this trippy spiritualist. He has fun with us, writing his own awesomely weird TVD script 'fanfics'. Ernesto's like his alterna-personality.

Definitely worth following on Twitter for a daily dose of glee and WTF-ness: twitter.com/ernestoriley

I think he takes the thing pretty far. He once tweeted two on-set seats and his had "ERNESTO RILEY" emblazoned on it. At least he was positioned next to IAN SOMERHALDER.
