glad the weather is changing and your trip was a good one despite the travel oddities. There is some charm to the chaos of travel. Even though our flight was delayed 2 hours the excitement and newness of the event made it much more interesting.
I remember back in 2005 I made the horrid mistake of taking the bus with the beau from Romania back to Paris... It's true it cost less for the two of us to come by coach than it would have for me to fly alone, but it also took very nearly 36 hours...
At each of the 4 (!!!) customs stops, it took a minimum of 2 hours to cross and once over 4 hours to get across... It was pure hell. Oh well, something to tell the grandkids, right ? Only I just can't seem to get him pregnant. Damn, foiled again.
