I set out to find a coffee shop for internetting today, and decided to go with a different one that I normally choose: a slightly smaller place, a little further off the main road, so I figured they could use the business

I wish we had cool coffee shops like that in Kalamazoo. Instead we have Rocketstar, home of the Moped Army (*shudder*) and Fourth Coast where your eyes sting from all the smoke after an hour and you leave smelling like cigarettes even when you sit upstairs in the non-smoking section. Harumph.
