canoes, fingers and thumbs

The canoeing is lovely. Quiet water and different views of known places are somehow freeing, comforting and peaceful. The birds behave differently when human sight and presence catches them from the water and not the land. Almost silent paddle strokes do not seem to disturb them. The canoeing sounds great. But you do need your hands, so tape them on securely.

Hands nearly ok now. Had anti-tetanus and antibiotics and bitten hand is now just a bit numb in the fingers. Other hand is ok, no sellotape needed now, as new nail grown. was quite pathetic really, but could still use keyboard, so work uncompromised.
