February is over but...

Mar 05, 2010 21:59

I know, I know, I'm late, but February is the shortest month of the year, so I'm gonna use that for my excuse.

FEBRUARY FAVORITES
Food: Chocolate muffins from Insomnia Coffee Company (they are my new Sunday ritual), vegetable-omelets
Drink: Butler's hot chocolate with some extras (yes, I'm being spoiled and I love it)

What are you reading? I'm reading a book now that I'd rather eat than read...

John Connolly - The Book of Lost Things.

What are YOU reading - a cookbook? ;)

I wish! Nothing of that sort: Sons and Lovers by D.H. Lawrence. Ok, it got better after... 70 pages. Now it's quite readable (and I hope it will stay that way, it has 500 pages!). The beginning was really painful.

This is always fun!

Food: Cambodian Jungle Curry from Noodle Box; tomatoes
Drink: coffee with coconut syrup and cream, especially at my favourite cafe
Beauty: matte nailpolish; Benefit "That Gal" face primer
Fashion: realistically, chunky-knit sweaters and oversized necklaces; in my dreams, the flag shoes from Pretty Ballerinas
Song(s): The Beatles - For You Blue; Oh Canada
Movie: still Sherlock Holmes
Show: the Olympics and nothing but (this was kind of true of life there, actually.)
Book: Gregory Maguire - Wicked

html fail, sorry

Your coffee sounds delicious - or it would, if I was a coffee-drinker. :) But the coconut syrup and cream part sound lovely.

I like those shoes! I'd never know which country to choose, though...

It is delicious. Also dangerous, because caffeine affects me pretty strongly.

I'd start with Canada, for sure! But I also love the Great Britain ones, with their punky little accent pins.
