Is there an article with that picture? Because it kinda looks like there might be words off to one side, but I can't seem to drag my eyes over there to find out.
Oh, that's just lovely, that "yes, I know we're sober and we've never done this sober but I'm fine with it" kiss. So sweet and powerful at the same time.
As my contribution, here's a bit from an original piece I've been working on for-freaking-ever:
I wanted - no, I needed - this first real kiss to be right, to be everything I wished my first kiss had been. I pulled him close again, this time moving my right hand to cup the back of his head and tilt him down to me. Again I started very slowly, just barely touching my lips to his. He moaned very quietly so I deepened the kiss slightly, again flicking my tongue out to taste his lips. I nipped his lower lip gently, eliciting another quiet moan.
This particular set of original boys can be quite the headache (one is way, way unexperienced while the other is... very not), but they were my first original characters, and I love them with a deep passion.
Yay for kissing! LOVED the ficlet, Nan - so beautiful. :-)
Ok, I'll play, too - from my Sam/Dean story Stronger Now:
The door had barely closed behind Dean and Sam was in his arms. This time the kiss was intense, demanding and Dean felt the universe expand and contract all at once. Expanded as he tried to process everything at the same time - the exquisite taste of his brother, the softness of his lips, the feel of Sam’s heart pounding against his chest, Sam’s unique scent and the sharp tang of arousal enveloping them both…and contracted until he felt they were the only two men in the world, bound together by something so strong, so right, that it scared Dean
