They wrote in Jared's cast by Sam getting attacked by a ZOMBIE.

Also, I swear, sometimes I think Jared just - I think I love him to death, and then I see him in another interview and I realize I love him even MORE. The guy asks him about doing a guest spot on GG one day, and Jared *so geniunely* is like, I would LOVE to, I LOVED those guys, etc. He's just made of awesome.

But yes. Sam gets trampled by a (girl) zombie, I think, and then Dean shoots her (!!!!! posessive!protective!dean!!!) and Sam winds up with a cast.
