Thanks! I love to cook, and particularly enjoy when I find the time to actually take care with each dish, rather than throwing it all together at the last minute. Much of what I made for this week got thrown together, but I had fun with a few of the dishes.
My intention had been to do a mushroom barley soup, fake-crab-stuffed mushrooms, london broil with a mushroom gravy (or chicken marsala, since that has lots of mushrooms too), mushroom tarts, and probably a side or two that doesn't contain mushrooms. And chocolate truffles for dessert, of course, because that's close enough to the mushroom theme to keep me happy. :)
Anyway, I just never got around to working out the details.
I thought about doing meringue mushrooms, which I've done before, but which are a gigantic pain in the neck and I'm frankly not that motivated right now. But it was a good idea for the short time it lasted.
