I haven't recced fic in ages, because there was a time when I didn't read a lot of fanifc. I' missed a lot of good stories that way and am only now catching up.
This is an old hat for some of you, I know, but there are other drive-by lj-readers out there, and if only one or two of them catch this fabulous story, then it's worth my while pimping ( Read more... )

I miss the days when Laura updated her AllaboutSpike, I'm sure she would have archived this one.
It's nice to have the good stuff in one place. I've started to bookmark stories at A3o....

Yes! This is an excellent story, in every way. I am an equal opportunity fic reader -- gen, het, slash -- and this one appealed to all my interests. It has the bonus of fitting neatly into canon, even though lots of plot takes place, which makes it a rare treat.
