I can feel this story coming to a close now. Still love the wonderful descriptions and looking forward to the mystery being resolved.

Thank you for the kind feedback. I'm glad you're still enjoying this.
Today I spent several hours on the final part.
I'm still struggling with pacing issues and I'm trying to distill the last four paragraphs into one, but I made progress. It's going to be weird without having a WIP to think about....

Maybe I should unearth my Snape/Ethan fragment and see if I can breathe some life into the corpse ;)

I just reread the whole story, since it has been a while since I read the previous parts. This story is so damned good. It feels absolutely spot on, both men, how they are with each other. You've nailed it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it wraps up.

Thank you so much for your feedback. It really makes me happy to know that this story still has a handful of eager readers. ^^

I've been working on the final chapter all week. Maybe it's because it's hard to let go... in that respect stories are a bit like children...

Anyway, I hope to post the next installment soon. It's really down to polishing the last six paragraphs. :)
