I don't think they're Italian either, he just used the heavy accent as a joke. But I wouldn't know.
Unfortunately I grew up without much family at all. But I'd be honoured to be part of such a funny, quick witted family.

Yes it's hilarious, isn't it? Though this is a rather harmless customer, there are so much worse.
It reminds me of my own time as a sales assistant and cashier. And not to forget it and become a douchebag customer myself.
