Didn't I tell you people would be disappointed? XD! (And it seems to me that would clash...)

Uh, what does that prove, exactly? *is dense* >__>

It's canon, I tell you. Maxime/Le Bas forever!!1 Actually, Maxime/Saint-Just/Le Bas, would be better, in terms of Saint-Just not feeling betrayed forever and ever.

I am not going to make a crude comment about Le Bas and erections. Really.

Eeep!!! Should I have known about this? Happy birthday. ^___^ Would you like some kind of terrible art and/or cookies?

Or so the internetz tell us, anyway. And there are far worse things. ;) But I'm sure Éléonore and Élisabeth might have something to say about that....

Oh, but why not? It's so ironically... appropriate. XD

Thank you, citoyenne. But since I haven't been exactly forthcoming on the fic I promised you for your birthday, I can hardly be making requests myself. (By the way, I did try to write it, and I had an outline, but in the first place it wasn't working out, and in the second my computer crashed and I lost the outline. >__> Sorry about that.)

Probably. XD That's true. ;__; Poor things. We leave them out a lot.

Because it's too obvious. >.>

Aw. That's okay, I don't mind. ^^; (It's fine, really. That's not your fault.)

Still, one really can't marry *all* one's friends. XD Yes, though I think I probably include them more than most people. >_>

There is that. Poor Le Bas. XD

Well, if you really want to... If you could draw something with chibi!sans-culottes, they always make my day. :D (It is, though, at least partly. D:!)

Thank you. ^__^ You don't of course need to give me anything, but it would be very amusing if were to chibify one of maelicia's crack!fics. Really, any of them. Of course, you might want to that anyway, since I'm sure they would be doubly hilarious in chibi-form... (This one--http://community.livejournal.com/sexandthecomite/11930.html#cutid1--would be especially funny in chibi form, but it is rather on the long side. :/)

Yes, precisely. As much as I love Maxime and Le Bas, Maxime/Le Bas doesn't really work. Still less their marriage--I mean, Le Bas would have to divorce Babet, and I'm sure he would never do that. (And that's the just the most obvious of the complications.)

It's pretty impossible not to think it though. XD

would later marry Philippe Le Bas Antoine Saint-Just of the Committee of General Security the Committee of Public Safety),

Fixed that for everyone. Silly people.

Unless there was SUPER SEKRIT CONSPIRACY to keep this deep and eternal truth covered up from us, and only random Google ellipses have the power to reveal it. :O!! I guess the world will NEVER KNOW...

Obviously that link has something to do with the possible Maxime/Philippe conspiracy. Further research must be done.

Happy birthday! =D Hope it's been a good one. Damn, just turning 17 and you're a senior?

As amusing as a Maxime/Philippe conspiracy would be, I think this only happened because I searched "'Philippe Le Bas' Robespierre" and apparently the only salient fact about the former is that he married Babet, so articles only mention him in that capacity. (In case you're wondering why I needed to search for Le Bas with Maxime, it's that there was apparently an early 18th century painter named Philippe Le Bas, and I figured that any site on the Conventionnel would also have to mention Maxime. Ergo... The ellipses. >__>)

Thank you. Yes, I must be the youngest senior in history! :O Or, not so much... I just started first grade when I was five, without going to kindergarten.

Oh, but that's what they want you to think. :o Really. You have to think like they think, the evil bastards. Huh. Did you find out any more about the painter?

Z0mg yes! :O Ah, I see.

Oh yes, I suppose conspiracy theories all come to this at some point; I really should have expected it. XD There wasn't really much to find out about him, really. >__>

You see, it all makes sense in the end.
