Thanksgiving Eve, I stayed up until 3 a.m. watching Gone With The Wind with my two girls. That show is awful/fabulous. I cringed, laughed and awed at the whole 5 hour (with commercials) spectacle. This holiday weekend was also my husband's birthday and we went to the best sushi place. I'm a bad sport and only ordered cooked dishes but at least I ( Read more... )

Yeah, certainly not a memorable list of movies you've got there. I have a whole bunch of 'eh' movies that I need to get to, but no motivation to spend 2 hours on them. So I've been bingeing on TV shows like made in the week that I've been on holidays.

...and yeah, that's just SO gross about your vom shoes. I was going to say did anyone take them...but I don't think anyone would be so desperate for shoes ;)

Happy birthday to your hubby! Can't say I blame you with the dishes, raw meat...no thanks.

raw meat...no thanks. Exactly, right? I did not want to spend the rest of the weekend with food poisoning.

I love binging on a good TV series. If you find any winners, give me a heads up.

Right now I am back on the island and re-visiting LOST...oh what a foolish task I accidentally set myself.

I've been enjoying the UK show Misfits, and as they only have 6 eps per season it wouldn't take long to catch up on as s3 has just started (err, half way through lol)...damn those short seasons.

Oooh, actually I don't think I have converted you to Miranda yet, have I??? OMG, watch it!!!

I want to watch, but have no space on my harddrive, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire.

I loved Misfits. I'm currently keeping up with season 3 but it isn't as good as season 2.

Miranda looks hilarious.

I currently watch Walking Dead and Boardwalk. I like them both. Game of Thrones was okay.

I love Gone With the Wind. My mom took me to a showing of it at the theater when I was 10. She wanted me to see it on the big screen. I thought maybe my affinity for it was a Southern thing.

I love sushi, too, but like you, I prefer the cooked rolls. I've tried the raw tuna and salmon and I even got some eel one time, but I just don't enjoy the flavor of the raw stuff. I prefer the shrimp tempura roll where the shrimp is fried. Fried food, again, that might be a Southern thing. LoL

Happy Birthday to your hubby!

I remember the time when I would NEVER miss a Ewan movie, now I don't keep up at all. :( I even missed Orli's latest movie in the theater. My fangirl card is going to be officially revoked. I really wanted to see The Help and missed it in the theater, too. Was Conan even worth enough just to drool over Jason Momoa?

Was Conan even worth enough just to drool over Jason Momoa? That's exactly why I watched in the first place. Heh. It was so awful. I can't even recommend it for the hotness. :(

This may be bad parenting, but I told my girls I was more like Scarlett than Melanie. Bitches get stuff done. ;-D

I got a cooked salmon bento box at the sushi place. It was delightful.
