This was a pretty lack-luster Oscars and the fashion reflected that. Or maybe I'm just a cantankerous old whore. :D

haha, i loved Sean for saying that. though i don't see how he made an ass out of himself. Jude's costared with many of the people there. i'm sure they didn't care too much for chris rock's comments.

Dude, Beyonce's first dress (re: the one she only wore to walk down the freaking carpet) was amazing. And I loved Kirsten's dress too.

But yes, It was boring. *sigh*

I'm pretty sure Gisele is without child, but her and Leo would make pretty babies.

Not many people could pull off that dress Charlize wore, without looking like 50's rejects, but Charlize looked very pretty.

I <3 Kate Winslet. Her voice is like butter. :D

I'm only just going through now, but I love Maggie Gyllenhaal's dress.

Some of the dresses this year are actually terrifying. The back of Hilary Swank's is fantastic, but the front makes her look like a guest star on Dynasty. Taking the eighties revival way too far. And also, auditioning to play somebody's mother in law.

Renee Zellweger looks vaguely like Mrs. Santa Claus.

Are the Oscars over? I'm in a different time zone, and I've been out all day. I have no idea who the winners were.

Chris Rock was dissing Jude for being in so many movies and not being a *real* movie star. It was a bit harsh...so Sean Penn comes out and basically says Jude is awesome and Chris Rock can suck it. Of course this is all in my own wording. :))

Hey there! I have to agree that it wasn't the best of Oscar's last night. I missed the red carpet because I was driving home from work. So I can only go by what I saw on stage.

I really liked Kirsten's dress and I absolutely agree that her brother is just to cute for words.

What was Natalie Portman thinking. Her dress looked like something from the Star Wars set.

I thought Emmy Rossum looked very elegant. I liked Drew Barrymore's dress but thought it would have been prettier if it was a color. I love black, but, with her new dark hair it was just to much. It seemed like an overwhelming amount of black this year. *shrugs*

lol At least she improved over her flapper/sack dress from the Golden Globes. I sort of liked her Oscar dress, but it really does look like something off the Star Wars set. :))
