About 5 years ago, that question came to mind as well. Because it dawned on me that I've lived under this roof longer than any other place excepting the parental home. I forget the exact count now, but it was somewhere in the mid-30s ... Not counting barracks and hotels when away on training or taskings.

The best is always which ever is the current home, because it is my 'safe place'. The worst? I'd have to say that first 17 years of life, and where they were spent (that would be 2 of the 30-plus) ...
