My Favourite Werewolf Movies

Jun 06, 2010 00:24

For the past few weeks I've been watching a shit-load of WWII movies and werewolf movies. What's the connection? I dunno, I like them. Anyway, I wanted to see if I could manage to make a top 10 list of my fav. werewolf movies.

Oh, and FYI, Werewolves > Vampires.

Monster Squad and Ginger Snaps FTW.

I think Dog Soldiers was the name of one that I saw that was good...but I saw three werewolf movies in two days at a friends, so I might be mixing the names.

Yeah, Dog Soldiers. I started watching that at a party once, but pretty quickly we all lost interest in it and demanded it be replaced with something else. We weren't really paying attention to it so nobody had any idea what the hell was going on. If you think it's good then maybe I'll have another look.

I'll also add in a recommendation for Dog Soldiers. It's not really a werewolf movie insomuch as it's a movie about a band of snarky British soldiers who happen to be fighting werewolves. What really makes it memorable is the characters and the plot twists.

Admittedly, it's cheesy in places... But if Underworld and Brotherhood of the Wolf managed top spots on your list, it'll do just fine.

Also... The following is a list of the b-movies I have acquired for whenever we get around to doing that B-Movie Badness night. I'm sure IMDB can tell you all you need to know ( ... )

Pandorum isn't a B-Movie. Just saying...
