Just finished my last exam today, so I am finally done my first year of university. It was my Astronomy exam, which had some ridiculous questions about gamma rays and light spectrums, but also even more ridiculous questions like ( Read more... )

It's even harder when you get sick of waiting for the next volume, so you start following the chapters online. Every chapter is so much closer to the end... I think it really only has a few chapters left. I may be inconsolable when FMA ends.

*Sigh* How come things like One Piece and Inu Yasha can go on for a bazillion volumes, constantly reusing the same plots, yet FMA has to end?

Yeah for real, especially since Inuyasha friggin' sucked for most of the final volumes and I was only reading it because I was afraid if I missed a chapter, it'd finally start moving towards an ending! And the ending sucked, too. -__- The anime did the ending better, but still, even watching THAT was a chore. Damn completist me...

One Piece is kinda fun though, I like some of it.

I guess we should be glad FMA will end and hopefully not with resentment toward the ending like how I feel toward a lot of long running series though...

Sweet. So you actually will have a boatload of free time in the immediate future? You definitely need to slot time in for me someday soon. I've got, like, six or seven movies which will probably straddle the So Bad It's Good and So Bad It's Horrible lines, and I really don't want to watch them without a fellow connoisseur of the fine B-movie there to see them with me.

Also, I've been feeling the urge to rewatch Firefly lately, but think the experience could be enhanced on BluRay. If you don't have it on BluRay, I'd happily purchase a copy for you to borrow until whenever the hell I finally pick up a PS3.

I do not have it on Blu-Ray, so I shall leave the acquisition of that up to you.

I have free time right now, but it is filled with a lot of job hunting.

Fair enough. I'm busy for the next couple of weeks anyway, as my parents finally got rid of their house and me, my father, and my brother are all moving into an apartment.

Remember how much packing sucked when we were living in the apartment? With a house it's like ten times as painful. I didn't even KNOW I had this much crap still hanging around here. :S

Anyway, I'll see what this coming weekend is like, and presuming you're not busy, I'll give you a call and see what's up. Provided I'm not moving multiple vans worth of furniture.
