esteefee did meet over mezes with the brilliant and stylish laurashapiro, proving that not all the awesome people live far away. esteefee showed no mercy, however, and tortured laurash with backgammon.

also, esteefee's ride last night ended with her racing the fog home, but the sunset was so beauteous esteefee had to stop dead and take a shot:

What a beautiful shot!!!

ps. I'm not above bribing my sales guy to get me a gig in the SF Bay Area when my contract is up in October! :)

Thank you! I seriously celebrate the day I got my iPhone, because I never, ever would have been carrying a camera around normally (or so conveniently.) It's strapped to my messenger bag so it literally takes 10 seconds to unclip and snap a shot.

yeah! it's something you can't get in a car...you have to be on the street, to be part of it.

I have been SO DISTRACTED watching the fog roll in over the sun this summer. Something about the quality of the light just stops me in my tracks.

I do love the fog. Well, mainly because I don't have to live right in it. :))

That is fabulous. You clever thing, angling it so that the sun is under the west arch, with the fog starting to eat the span beside it. I am *impressed*.

ha! oh no, I looked over my shoulder to make sure no car was about to squish me as I came down off the bridge approach, and that view smacked me right in the face. I am the poorest of accidental photographers.

But I'm so glad you liked.

Yay for awesome peeps close by! And that's a gorgeous shot. Love the fog and the perfectly framed sun. (And hey, I was in that very spot or something close to it last February! What a great place to ride.)

Laura is a treasure. I am so lucky. :)

(It is! Fort Point, the northernmost point in the city is at the end of the road...did you go all the way out?)

We did not get to the end of the road -- little feet got cranky so we climbed back up the hill. Maybe someday!
