Thank you, Mr. Nimoy

intrigueing wrote a wonderful tribute to Mr. Nimoy, and I responded. I'm really not up to writing a eulogy of my own at this point. The loss is too profound for me to touch.

But I recommend reading her tribute. It's wonderful.

I can't write about it yet. Spock has been in the OK, so not _all_ grownups... space in my head since I was barely more than a toddler. This hurts surprisingly much, which I guess is why I never let myself consider that it was going to happen.

Thank you for posting the tribute by intrigueing. It was very well put.

As I was an adult when TOS was on it has always been the standard for scifi programs for me. All of us were hanging on every moment we had with Mr Spock. Leonard Nimoy's personification of
Spock embodied the humanity in all of us and I believe made us better people for his integrity to the role.

He will be greatly missed but in our hearts forever. Thankfully his portrayals will be there for all generations to come.

I remember sneaking out of bed and turning on Star Trek when it was in it's last season at 10 pm on a Friday night. I had to watch that show and one of the main reasons was Spock.
