Finally catching up on S4 H50. oh, Danny. Why are you dating someone 16 years younger than you? She's only 22!
I mean. I'm reminded of that
OK Cupid dating chart of how men continue to rate women in their low 20s as the most attractive when they are themselves in their 50s. Ick.

I've seen so many Hollywood films where the male actors continue to get older while a new 20-something actress is trotted out to star with them that 16 years doesn't even seem that much of a gap any more.
I always remember seeing footage of an interviewer asking Edward Woodward, while he was starring in The Equalizer, what he would do if they cast a twenty-something on his show. He said he would merely call her daughter. *g*
(Interesting to note that in RL, Woodward's second wife was 18 years younger than him although she she was 39 when they got married)

but that's the thing, yeah. she's 22. she is in that "zone" that OK Cupid is talking about. that's why she is on the show and Danny is dating her. it's not about the 16 years (that on the show Danny laughably claimed was 10.) if he was 42 she would still be 22.
Cath is a mature woman, just as Steve is a mature man. Cath isn't a youngster of college age. (although, yeah, Michelle Borth is only 2 years younger than Alex.) Danny has 2x now dated models that he doesn't even bother to introduce by their last names. Their characters have no depth to them whatsoever. I think this is the show throwing a model at an available male on the show for the young male demographic, and they don't care how alienating it is for their female demographic.
They are stupid. :|
