Mini Film Review: Hercules (2014)

Well, so I wasn't aware Macedonia in 300 B.C. was a land positively teeming with pale, blond-haired, blue-eyed barbarians, but there you go. I so agree with you, why always the wife and kids *facepalm* It's so overused and stupid, and if they can't think of something new, they should at least pick another cliche occasionally *sigh*

But otherwise, judging by your review, this movie would worth a watch at some point :) Dwayne Johnson is unexpectedly adorable, I've been surprised by that on many occasions :D

Speaking of movies, my bf and I managed to catch a surprise Sunday showing of The Grand Budapest Hotel, which turned out to be a truly delightfully different movie! It's funny without constantly making you laugh out loud, and I love the performances of the leads, and the appearances from so many familiar faces. And I have to say, I've always found Tilda Swinton to me a most interesting actress :)

Oh, and if you haven't seen the Lego Movie, I highly recommend that too :D

oh, yes, I recced Grand Budapest when I saw it with my bro. Such a winner! I'm so glad you got a chance to see it! I grinned the entire time.

I will have to rent the Lego Movie; you're the second person who has recced it to me!
