Yay! Last thing I read before succumbing to sleep, the TX law had passed via a sneaky last-minute vote. Which was crushing after checking in on her heroic filibuster ALL DAY. Glad to hear that wasn't the case! And now prop 8!

Unfortunately the Voting Rights Act got chopped up a little lot, yesterday. So the last two days have not been a sweeping victory. I can't imagine how black Americans who fought in the civil rights movement are feeling right now.
