I've been watching the CBC with my kids, discussing US politics since I got home from work. There is much joy in our home that Obama is back for another 4 years.

I voted for Tammy Baldwin, who has been my representative for 14 years, and Mark Pocan, who is also gay, and is taking her seat in the House. Up at 6am, in line at 7am with 80 of my neighbors! So very happy with my state right now, and with this country, and with Maine, Maryland, Washington, and even Minnesota. (Here in WI, we're supposed to be snobby to MN and IL, but not Iowa. Iowa's okay.) So many great things happened last night! So many! *\o/*
