Glass and Simon had an interesting chat over drinks in which Simon reveals he helped slay something like a vampire. Then their chat got interrupted by Tez turning up. Glass let him know she knows he's a god, and he let her know he knows her dad. Valmont and Hermia came in to question Glass about this business about gods. Syl shows up to check Tez isn't drowning in his own puke or starting fights with townies. Then Kaeli shows up, except it's Eris. Then the real Kaeli turns up, and then Djinn appears in the form of Kaeli. Confusing. Valmont is pretty pissed off about all this and tries to talk to Kaeli. Meanwhile Syl and Tez have gone outside. Lucien, Hermia and Glass think of a plan to get Valmont away from whatever the third Kaeli is, and then the real Kaeli suggests they continue talking outside. Valmont has just proposed anyone who wants to keep talking continue at the Whitechapel. Eris meanwhile remains behind, distracting Djinn.

I listen with half an ear to Tez and Syl's conversation. Not clear on what is going on there, and I decide I am not inclined to find out.
"Right," I say. "We can't stand here in the street. If anyone wants to continue talking, the Whitechapel is just along the road. I imagine it will be noisy enough in the bar to cover any delicate conversation."
