Hey, babe! There's a picture of The Frenchman and me in Aaron's photos. I think we're the first page (?). I'm wearing a red corset, bearing my fangs, and he's wearing the poofy shirt, grinning like a silly man.
He is truly SO FRENCH. :D And I love him all the more because I found out he wrote an academic paper on the movement of the Rockie Horror Picture Show cult from NY to Paris (which explains how he knew how to dance the time warp so well).
It sounds like things went wonderfuly, and I'm so very happy for you both!
I wouldn't worry too much about your Tango. When looking through your pictures, I got to the one of you two dancing and immediately thought "it looks like they're doing a Tango?!" Then I read back and realized I was right. If I can tell just from the picture what dance you're doing, it undoubtedly went well. :)
It's amazing what a crappy instructional video and a few weeks of practice can do. In the last week or two, it finally started to come together and feel natural, so I wasn't too worried.
