Whirlwind Weekend

Furious activity all weekend long, it seemed. Partially instigated by ants, who have located more tiny cracks and holes in our ancient house than I can believe. They have fiendishly come up with back-up plan after back-up plan. Earlier this summer, we had sort of a detente in place with the ants, but it seems that the cold war is hotting up

It was a nice affair, at a cool French place (expensive, but they have a lounge fishbowl where you can sit and watch Hollywood Blvd. We showed up late, but left with everyone else.

It was her birthday, so maybe it's she. Actually, they (ridiculously) bought dinner and had an open bar at the restaurant, so the guestlist was modest. So the correct question is: 'Why does she not like me as much as she likes you?'
