so I met Christopher Moore tonight! he's been one of my favorite authors for years, with his amazing (and amazingly researched) novels that are mostly humor but also philosophy, history or biology lesson, scathingly awesome satire, and lots more.

the boy IS awesome! i can't really get over it. and i agree -- it is nice that things have sort of turned around from the whole getting-thrown-out-of-my-house thing. i'm even gainfully employed!

he's palintonos on eljay. he IS spiffy! hansbekhart has an ant phobia and when we had a massive invasion at seven thirty this morning he got up to battle them while she flailed in a corner and i slept. and now we're cooking rosemary and pear dark chocolate brownies. *swoon*

dude, it's gone beyond terro! they eat the terro AND COME BACK FOR MORE. we've had to use, like, CLR and peppermint spray to kill them. our baseboards look like they have a coke problem there's so much baking soda on them. *facepalm*

and i HATED Lear.
