So like most hot-blooded humans, I like listening to music! And a lot of times, music can serve as great creative inspiration, blah blah blah, you guys know this, there's no reason for me to observe the platitudes of paying lip service to how music gets the creative juices going. Do it! It's a lot of fun and, if it doesn't pull you out of a rut, helps make you feel not so useless at writing or coming up with ideas.

It WOULD give me a chance to just brainstorm...and crafting a title and a summary is one of those fine points of online posting that few people seem to get...(ugh those stories where they just say "not good at summaries" or "Blossom is sad and hates Brick, will he change her mind and will they fall in love and get married and have lots and lots of babies?" make me want to track the IP address and slap them across the face)(and the titles that are like "buttercup n butch make out" or something like that) (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

I know I'm not sbj, but if you read her LJ entries, you should be able to tell that the next chapter is in the process of being betaing, so yes. It is being continued.

Furthermore - I'm a slightly new reader and I've heard sometimes the chapters take a year to come out. A year is a long time, but then again, look at the chapter lengths and story length.

sbj puts blood, sweat, tears, and oodles of love into her writing and it shows. She has it beta'd twice and edited as much as possible so we all get the finest chapters she can provide. Greatness takes time; Rome wasn't built in a day you know.

As a writer myself (nowhere near sbj's level though), I always disliked comments like this. All you had to do, was scroll through her LJ and you would see the next chapter is in the works.

So here is some small words of advice - read before you comment. And lastly - chill and just enjoy the fact that sbj takes time out of her schedule to do small updates like this and that the fandom is alive and well. :)

I totally started singing that song when I saw Boomer's. I actually met ATL in person once (Warp tour 08- my friends waited a half hour in blistering summer heat while I went to go see Story of the Year and snuck back into the much shorter line afterwards). Really chill guys.

That's pretty fucking great. They totally give off that laid-back vibe. Dear Maria is easily one of my favorites of theirs.
