Always fun to run into rampant homophobia at work. You know, if you go to a workshop about LGBT issues, they're going to talk about gay stuff, so why are you so upset about it?

Much to my delight, she explained every term behind LGBTQAIQTTPFFO (as in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgenedered, queer, ally, intersexed, questioning, transsexual, two-spirit, polyamorous, fetish, furry and other). Now *that's* entertainment!
They were discussing it in the context of gender and sexual identity, expression, and orientation, so it sort of fits there. On a larger context, they were talking about how to create safe spaces, and it makes sense someone might want to have a bit of familiarity so when someone comes out as furry they don't freak out all over them. :)
