Life in your 20's

All my friends in their 20's need to read this (and if you don't think it applies to you, it does):

"15 Ways 20-Somethings Ruin Their Twenties"

I did some of these myself, and am so glad I've learned (and continue to learn) these lessons.

life, internet junk, deep thoughts, introspection

That was mercilessly accurate. Even the ones I didn't fall into myself I certainly recognized in others.

Eerily accurate. I know some people who think being a jerk is a crowning achievement.

Yeah. I ran into some issues running Werewolf because I have a few friends who are non-malicious trolls, but trolls nonetheless. There are now roles I won't put into the deck if those people are playing.

I was in my 20's so long ago that a couple of these wouldn't have applied in any case. Even if you ignore the heterosexism in #4, I think the whole get married first thing is BS.

That said, I was certainly guilty of a few of these, especially the ones about drama (College instead of High School , relationships, and I still hold grudges for a very long time.

I've said before than in today's world, one could make the case that 20-somethings may well have it harder than anyone else. Not saying I completely agree with it, just saying the case can be made.

Some of it is the sheer volume and complexity of decisions they have to make, in ways and with burdens that prior generations never had to face. That's why these self-destructive behaviors are so important to avoid.
