A few days ago I received an invitation from a nice LJ user to join her community called othermoscow

The Comm shares photos and things of places the regular tourist to Moscow wouldn't necessarily think of visiting, nice places, pretty sculptures, etc. I have never been to Moscow myself, but I would like to some day, and this community helps to give a glimpse ( Read more... )

I studied Russian History at college and i too would love to visit Moscow. I particularly would like to see St Basil's Cathedral in what was known as Red Square. And also St Petersburg. Oh and finally i would like to see the Moscow Underground as i believe that is quite spectacular! :)

Why would you need to study Russian History at college for the job that you do? It isn't even a related field! Do you mean you took it as an "option" because it was an interest for you?

Well i was doing my A Levels at the time, English Lit, Law and History. I had wanted to English history but did not get a choice and ended up studying Russian and American history instead! :)
