Truth be told, a lot of my take on Silmarillion fandom can be summed up as 'Finarfin is awesome and I must prove it to the world.' Haven't got very far with that quest yet, though.

That one's been sitting in my To Rec tray for mumble mumble years. (Though not as long as forodwaith's Sutcliff one.) I was hoping to podfic it in my local nature reserve (which has been grazed by ponies that remind me of Hwin for several years now), but sadly my laptop battery refuses to cooperate -- despite buying two new ones. Sigh.
