I've been here for a little while now, so the shock has started to wear off sort of. I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Terra Branford and I'm still learning about this place but would like to find some way to help around here. Licensed? I...no, but I know some healing magic and first aid. I was told there had been a battle with many injured. If people still need help, I want to do what I can.

That is understandable. Although, I must confess that I am unfamiliar with the "magic" component of healing. I presume you are using a figure of speech?

No, it's not. I know some spells that heal injuries. They don't fix things like pre-existing conditions--I can't regrow limbs, but a gash would be no trouble.

...I thought magic was common here. Am I mistaken? It wasn't my intention to sound like I was showing off. I just wanted to help.

It wasn't too bad. I doubt I did the best of all those there, but I shouldn't be the worst either, neither of us should be.

And of course I'll be happy to be a study partner. We don't need to be confusing Locke and Setzer with our questions, right?

As well as I can. This all still feels like some sort of nightmare, but the key is to never give up. Still trying to figure out what the best thing to do now is, though.

Do you have any ideas?

I agree, it does have a surreal feel to it.

Well, there's always the school. It seems like a good way to meet and learn about people, as well as other things. I've seen lots of shops and businesses in town, too. Maybe some of them need help? I don't know about you, but I always feel better with a routine.
