I hope you write more 30 minute posts, your writing is fun to read.
I've noticed the same thing that media can be a distraction from feeling things which could lead people to go out and work at improving those things... I get stuck in that a lot with stuff like knitting and watching TV shows on netflix.
Any particular type of job that you are searching for?
Not exactly, it's more the aspects of the jobs that I'm interested in. I would like a job that: -Engages my creativity -Engages my (rather skillful) social skills -Requires physical movement throughout the day -Engages my interests in: -- the way people make meaning -- emotions and coping mechanisms -- emotional theory -- learning theory (theories on how people learn) -- built environment (how a building/city/group of buildings/playground affects one's psyche/life/lifestyle)
So, I'm currently in the process of attempting to figure out what (other than teaching) could fulfill these interests. I'm interested in teaching and I'm hoping to find a career which is more focused on my personal investigation, rather than on my ability to impart this knowledge/curiosity/learning onto others.
